PEC Renovation Update
Click to view photosThe Carolina First Center, already the largest convention center from Atlanta to Washington, D.C., is days away from completing its $22M dollar enhancement plan. The facility's initial expansion for a new image began on August 1, 2005 and has an anticipated completion date of late May 2008. The renovation will provide over 200,000 sq. ft. of contiguous exhibit space.
The multi-phased plan is designed to enhance the Carolina First Center's already expansive facility by improving the facility's exhibit and meeting spaces and boosting connectivity with public spaces. Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates, Inc. (TVS) from Atlanta, GA is directing planning and construction for the project.
Even though we're in the process of getting a face-lift, it's business as usual at Carolina First Center. Renovation has been scheduled in a way to maximize the convenience and experience for all visitors.
